We were supposed to come to Beck’s on the morning of December 25.  Blizzard watches for much of the state moved up our travel plans by two days.  After scrambling to complete last minute tasks Chris, Rob, and I arrived at her house on December 23; she, Jamie, and Sam were at Jamie’s folks’ house!  They were to come home on the 25th.  On the 24th, about a foot of snow fell and drifts were a couple feet high.  There was a lull and overnight on the 24th-25th more snow came and the winds picked up again.  Much snow to get through.  The good news is that the kids made it safely home on the morning of the 25th.  I’m writing this at 4:30 p.m. on the 25th and the snow and winds have begun again.  We may have a snowmobile ride to our hotel tonight!!
